Winnersh Summer Fete will be held on Saturday 15th June 2024.
The fete will be held between 1pm-4.30pm on Bearwood Recreation Ground in Sindlesham with free entry and free parking. We have wide variety of stalls from many local charities, groups, businesses and organisations. There will be refreshments including a BBQ, teas, coffees and cakes, ice cream van and candy floss.
In addition we have attractions which include Circus Scene, face painting, a petting farm from Basil and Crew Mobile Farm, free bouncy castles, a climbing wall from Dinton Pastures Activity Centre and live music from Saxcelerate.
There is a full arena display of performances. Maypole dancing from Bearwood Primary School, The Dance Zone and Elements Dance School are performing alongside the traditional wheelbarrow race and tug of war competitions. There will also be a gun dog demonstration from Look and Lead. Winnersh Parish Council will also be awarding this year’s Civic Awards.
The fete is supporting two local charities, Reading Family Aid and SHARE Wokingham. There will also be a raffle raising money for the charities. The event is being sponsored by Roy Wood Transits, Legacy Law and Avocado Property.
